Calculate Your BMI

BMI, or Body Mass Index, is a simple measure used to assess whether a person has a healthy body weight for their height. It’s important because it helps identify whether someone is underweight, normal weight, overweight, or obese, which can be linked to health risks like heart disease, diabetes, and high blood pressure. To calculate BMI, you divide a person’s weight in kilograms by the square of their height in meters (BMI = weight ÷ height²). This gives a number that can be compared to standard ranges to understand overall health.
